In 1947, ESPEC was founded in Japan as the Scientific Equipment Manufacturing Company to create glass flasks and jars for the scientific community. This continued until 1960 when we entered the environmental chamber business. As the company grew and flourished, so did the products we manufactured. As a leader in the manufacture of environment test chambers, ESPEC decided to capitalize on this success. In 1986 we started designing and manufacturing test equipment that uses these chambers. Over the years, we have gone through a number of name changes to reflect the changes in the company and its products. In 2002, we changed our name from TABAI ESPEC to ESPEC.
